How to get Unbanned in Counter-Strike online: Fake Steam-Id using Cheat-Engine

This post is for the servers that use steam-id generation to identify players. Things to know before reading this post,

    1) I have tried it, and it worked

    2) I have tried it only in my broadband (Alliance) and in Non-steam CS 1.6  (p48) but I am pretty sure it will work on others.

    3) You may need to change your IP because sometimes the DSL broadbands block the ip too. Which in case you have to "hack" a few account username/passwords to use a different account, which I am not going to post, atleast not yet.

Things You Need :  1) Cheat Engine . Download Now
                           ( Click on Skip on the "RIGHT TOP CORNER" )
                                 2) CS (duhh!)
                                 3) Your Steam ID....

Heres how to do it...

  •  First get the steam-id : It will look something like this
                                       STEAM_0:0:1028240912

 
  • You can type "status" in console (press ~ ) while ONLINE on the server to get it. Or you can see the ban info in your console to identify it.
  •  Open the CS , try to join (obviously you will fail). But DONOT turn off CS.
    It has to be turned on (Adult reference :) )
  • What we need is the code after STEAM_0:0: which is 1028240912
  • Now install Cheat-Engine , Open the process using the "comp" icon, locate "hl", you know the logo! and OPEN!

 



  • Now , just put the code (your code) in the text area just like in the images and click "first scan".

      
  • You will get the data on the left side --> Right Click --> Change the value --> Put any code with THE SAME LENGTH. (pss! just change a single digit)

       

        

  • Now your steam id has changed....

      1) cs has to be on!
      2) you have to be banned. the steam id must b shown in cs, ie enter into memory. then only u can change.
      try it, i am here

      Its automatically saved for that time. If the process ends u hv to start and change again..

      Make sure there's no spaces.
      Make sure cs is on, and somewhere in your cs you have been banned and in the terminal it's showing your steam-id.
      If cs doesn't show you the steam-id, its not in the memory and hence can't be changed.

      Cs normally runs with hl.exe ... make sure irs not counterstrike.exe or something like that. open the location of the icon created and check the exe file.

    I followed the steps. After Ok what should be the next step?
    I tried to connect the server but still banned.
    Next i check the cheat engine the value is reset to original.

      make sure you get the "green" digits after ok.. no spaces.

      I think there is a problem with your cs. Download another version maybe.

    Hey, it's a little strange. My steam id actually is like this : STEAM_0:1:XXXXXXX. It seems like my steam id is a little different from everyone. How come I have a 1 in between instead of a 0? Is that why this isn't working?

      I have the same steam ID. I put that in the box, but nothing is being displayed. I've used this before so I know I am doing it right. As far as I know, CS has got no tokens with that number.

      make sure ur settings-
      uncheck hex
      value: XXXXXXX (ur steam id)
      scan type: Exact value
      value type: 4 bytes

      That's actually your ip... I think its dyanamic so see if you can change it.

      yaa its ur ip, you can solve it easly by reseting ur router, if using net setter so just remove it and reinsert.
      because ur ip changes every time when u disconnct and reconnect to ur service provider.

    This trick may change your STEAM_ID to VALVE_ID or VALVE_ID_LAN

    Dear friend

    After all, sorry about my english, but im from Argentina.

    I wanna change my CS Source steam ID with your method.

    I follow the instructions using the cheat engine and I found a registry that matches with my steam id (the only way I could found that registry is searching by string). After this step, I replace my steam id by a new one (running the game) but the steam id still being the same.

    After I change the steam id I have to quit the game?
